Wrinkled
By Georgie Bailey
Funded by Arts Council England and developed with Mercury Theatre.
Wrinkled was written over a year-long development attachment after Georgie won the Adopt a Playwright Award in 2023 which resulted in a reading at the Criterion Theatre in April 2024.
Wrinkled was then selected from Chalk Line's open call to go into development in 2025. In March/April 2025 the play went through a period of ACE funded R&D at The Mercury Colchester.
Over the course of its evolution, the play has been supported by Kenny Emson as a mentor, the Adopt a Playwright Award, the Criterion Theatre, Pippa Hill (formerly of the RSC) and Linda Marlowe who was crucial to the play’s dramaturgical development.

Poison, Hate & Vitriol
By Amy Guyler
Developed at Vault Festival 2022 directed by Vikesh Godhwani
When ‘SHARON’ is created by left wing journalist Jaz, his wife Kelly is swept along for the ride. A fake online persona modelled on the Katie Hopkins and Andrew Tates of the world, ‘SHARON’ was made to rile up hatred – and it’s Kelly, a former journalist herself, who is forced into the starring role. But as the experiment begins to go too far, the cracks will begin to show in this comfortable marriage…
