Co-Artistic Director - Sam Edmunds

Sam is a multi award winning director, writer and producer. He is the Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Chalk Line Theatre company, who he has toured work with nationally and internationally. Chalk Line is a Graduate Emerging Company of The New Diorama and an Associate Company of Next Generation Youth Theatre.
He is currently the Artist Support Producer at Camden People's Theatre and sits on the board of Tangled Feet. Sam was previously the Resident Assistant Director at The Hampstead Theatre, where he spearheaded their community acting group.
Sam has won the Best New Writing Award at the New Besties 2024, Untapped Award 2022, London Pub Theatres Standing Ovation Award 2021, Best International Achievement Award Arts Council Malta 2021 and the COMMON Award 2020. Sam's work has also been shortlisted for the BBC Popcorn Playwriting Award and received multiple OFFIE nominations.

Sam was also a previous Resident Assistant Director at RADA and has been a workshop facilitator for The Young Vic, NT Connections, artsdepot, Theatre Peckham, NGYT, COMMON and The Pleasance Futures Trust.
He is a reader for the Bruntwood Playwriting Prize and The Phoebe Frances Brown Award.
Co-Artistic Director - Vikesh Godhwani
Vikesh Godhwani is a freelance theatre producer, director and writer who graduated with an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London.
Vikesh worked as an assistant producer with the multi-award-winning China Plate during their 2018 Fringe run and beyond, the highlight being the autumn tour of Trying It On by David Edgar (Midlands Arts Centre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal Court). Other producing credits include Mara by The New Victorians (The Vault Festival), Testament by Chalk Line Theatre (The Hope Theatre, Tobacco Factory, New Diorama and Home) and She Sells Sea Shells by Scandal and Gallows Theatre (Edinburgh Fringe).
Vikesh is currently a Stage One producer and recently worked with The Thelmas (associate producer) on Santi & Naz at this year’s Vaults Festival. Vikesh is the co-writer and co-director of the Panto in the Dark series in Malta (Winner of the Innovation Award at Malta Arts Award 2020) having collaborated with Teatru Malta, Esplora and Spazju Kreattiv on these multisensory hits in the dark.
He most recently co- directed The Nobodies at this year’s Vault Festival and is currently developing a new musical for visually impaired audiences with Teatru Malta.
Vikesh is also a workshop facilitator having previously worked for NGYT, COMMON and The Pleasance Futures Trust.
